2. Molding temperature
Molding temperature affects charcoal stick molding speed, appearance and quality. The molding temperature must be adjusted according to the raw material to ensure charcoal stick quantity and quality.
Low temperature is insufficient to soften the lignin in the material, causing blockage of the stick cylinder and difficult molding charcoal stick. The screw will be easily broken if careless. The raw material will decompose severely in high temperature, which resulting in charcoal stick surface carbonization and difficult to mold an effective pressure; therefore the charcoal stick machine can not mold charcoal stick. General pine and hardwood, especially larch adapt big temperature difference, they can form charcoal stick both in high or low temperatures. Using 50% larch mix 50% hardwood as raw material, the charcoal sticks formed are very smooth with good density and the charcoal stick form smoothly and quickly. The quality of charcoal after carbonization is good.
On the contrary, some materials adapt small temperature difference. Using them as raw materials, charcoal stick machine can not extrude charcoal stick in low temperature and can not mold in high temperature. Even if charcoal stick molded, the density of charcoal stick is small. There are cracks in the charcoal stick and the surface of charcoal stick is carbonized seriously and rough. Charcoal sticks formed unsmooth and there are more smoke in the forming process. The quality of charcoal after carbonization is bad, with many broken charcoal.
3. Heating
