Hammer mill is essentially a steel drum containing a vertical or horizontal cross-shaped rotor on which pivoting hammers are mounted. The hammers are free to swing on the ends of the cross. The rotor is spun at a high speed inside the drum while material is fed into a feed hopper. The material is impacted by the hammers on the ends of the rotating cross and thereby is shredded and expelled through screens in the drum.

Sieves with 1-20mm diameter will be installed at the bottom of the hammer mill. So if you want to crush powder with different size, then you should choose sieves with different diameter. Spare parts hammer blades, sieves and chief axies are handled by heat treatment, and then made by cnc system, quality is high and service life is long. Hammer blades are 65mn raw material, can be used for about 1 year, and the sieves can be used for about half years.
