Working Principle of Carbonization Furnace

Carbonization furnace is ideal equipment for wood briquettes to have anoxic distillation carbonization. This carbonization furnace is separated from the combustion chamber, and the carbonization hearth adopts flexible installation with continuous work. A furnace can be equipped with several charring hearth which need no preheating when replacing it. The carbonization hearth is cooled outside the carbonization furnace, thus it greatly improves the carbonization efficiency, saving the devices, labor and costs. The carbonization furnace has the advantages of good sealing effect, simple structure and easy&safe operation.

Working Principle of Carbonization Furnace:
 
1). Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature.
2). The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo plastic flow of the biomass.
3). The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature.
4). Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes.

The raw materials can be sawdust, crops straw (corn stalk, beanstalk, broomcorn stalk, cotton stalk, rape stalk,palm kernel shell, groundnut stem, sunflower stalk), husk, grass, bush branches, bamboo butt, bamboo scraps, bagasse and so on.
