Different Working Environment Temperature for Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyor is a kind of machinery that can transfer the material continuously by friction drive. According to different transport requirements, the transport system can be single belt conveyor or consist of several conveyors or be combined with other conveying equipments.

Belt conveyor is a conveying device with large conveying capacity, low operational cost and wide range of application. The belt conveyor can transporting bulk materials or packaged product, such as stone, sand, coal, concrete, cement, gravel, fertilizer, mineral ore, limestone, coke, sawdust, wood chip, bulk material, grain, corn flakes, carbon black, component/part, etc. Belt Conveyor is widely used in mine, metallurgy, coal mine, chemical, construction, food, machinery, building material, light industry, etc.

The common rubber conveying belt is suitable for working environment temperature between -10°c~40°c. If the working environment temperature is below -5°c,  it is not suitable to adopt PVA core belt; If the working environment temperature is below -15°c,  it is not suitable to adopt common cotton core belt; If the working environment temperature is below -20°c, it is suitable to adopt wire rope core belt. The common rubber conveying belt is suitable for conveying materials with temperature less than 80°c; If the temperature of the materials is between 80~150°c, it is suitable to adopt heat resistant belt; When conveying high temperature materials between 300~500°c, it is suitable to adopt high temperature resistant belt; When conveying acid, alkalic, corrosive materials or materials containing oil and organic solvent, it is suitable to adopt acidity resistant, alkalinity resistant, corrosivity resistant or oil resistant rubber belt or plastic belt; In working places with fire risk, it is suitable to adopt anti flaming belt.
